MRS. E. MISNER DIED YESTERDAY

Came to County in 1875 – Resident of Atlantic nine Years – Leaves Husband and Four Children – Ill For Long Time

Mrs. Flora Ann Blair Misner, wife of Emery Misner, 510 Hazel street, died yesterday at 4:20 p.m. at the Jones hospital after a long and painful illness. Mrs. Misner, who was 57 years of age at the time of her death, had been a resident of this county since 1875. She had been a resident of Atlantic for the past nine years.

Born In Madison County

Mrs. Misner was born in Madison county, Iowa, August 2, 1861, and came with her parents to Cass county when she was 14 years old. On Dec. 30, 1880, she was married to Emery Misner in Bear Grove township.

Besides her husband there are four children who survive Mrs. Misner. They are Mrs. M. E. Matthews of Grove township; Charles Misner, who lives north of Atlantic; Paul, who lives at home and Mrs. John Wilson of Ft. Worden, Wash. Mrs. Misner’s mother, Mrs. W. E. Blair, of 600 Spruce street, Atlantic, also survives at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Misner was the last of a family of eight children. All four of the children of Mrs. Misner, as well as her son-in-law, Mr. Wilson, are here for the funeral. Mr. Wilson is in the coast artillery and is stationed at Fort Worden.

Funeral Services Sunday.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the home, 510 Haxel street. The following will act as pallbearers: C. R. Crouch, Milford Myers, E. C. Eichhorn, J. S, Goss, Charles Helmts, E. H, Carey.
