Page 6, Column 5St. Paul Conductor Found Dead in Bed At Miles City Home
Miles City, Jan. 9 – (AP) – Frank M. Ritchey, 65, for 35 years an employee of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad company, was found dead in his bed at his home here Saturday afternoon about 2:30 o’clock. Heart disease was given as the cause of death.
Mr. Ritchey helped build the Puget South extension of the C. M. & St, P. railroad from Harlowton to Miles City and has been employed as a conductor since 1908.
Three daughters, Edith, Hazel and Ruth, besides three sisters and a brother survive.
_________________________Transcriber's note: The deceased came with his parents to Madison County about 1875 and is found there in the 1880 and 1885 censuses. Middle name taken from his gravestone.
