October 1960Joseph Albert Cassady, son of Joseph A. and Mary Cassady, was born October 20, 1900 at Savannah, Missouri. In 1920 Albert came to Adel, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Olive Knowles of Adel in 1932.
He passed away at his home in Earlham June 22, 1960 at the age of 59. He was preceded in death by a grandaughter, Donna Rae. He is survived by his wife, Olive and three children, Mary Ratliff, Stuart, Mariam Green, Hollywood, California and A/2c Arnold Cassady, Elgin Field, Florida; also three brothers, four sisters and eight grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces and numerous friends.
