Mrs. Stifel Dies; Funeral Monday

Mrs. Sevina A. Stifel, 73, of West Des Moines, died Saturday afternoon at Iowa Methodist Hospital after a two-week illness. She was born in Germany and had lived In West Des Moines for 11 years and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church there.

Services will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at McLaren's Funeral Home in West Des Moines, with burial at Van Meter.

Survivors include three sons, William Frederick of Grimes, Earl Edward of West Des Moines and George Wilbur, Route 6; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Hall and Mrs. Clara Rickman of West Des Moines; three stepsons, Carl Stifel of Murray; Albert of Lacona and Frank of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; three brothers, John Eichner, Indianola; Fred Eichner, St. Charles, and Harry Eichner, Winterset; one sister, Mrs. Clara Forrett, West Des Moines; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
