Maxine Silberhorn

Maxine L. Silberhorn, 66, Muscatine, Iowa, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1991, at Muscatine General Hospital. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial is in Muscatine Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. A memorial fund has been established.

The former Maxine Hayes was born May 23, 1925, in Earlham, Iowa, the daughter of George and Clara Tough Hayes. She married Andrew Silberhorn June 16, 1967, in Muscatine. He died April 13, 1991. Mrs. Silberhorn had been employed for many years by Stanley Consultants, Muscatine.

She was a member of Ladies of the Moose, Muscatine. Survivors include sons, Lynn Searcy, Salt Lake City, and Brian Searcy, Muscatine; stepdaughters, Donna Grensing, Davenport, and Diane Emlet, Muscatine; a stepson, Kevin Silberhorn, Muscatine; a grandchild; five stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and a brother, Lawrence Hayes, Bettendorf.
