NORTH SALT LAKE – Edward Albert Clyde, 68, of North Salt Lake, died Saturday in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment.
Mr. Clyde had worked as a carpenter for Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad Co.
He was born Dec. 9, 1884, in Adell (sic), Ia.
On July 19, 1934, he married Emma Smith of Albany, Ore. The couple moved to Salt Lake City in 1937.
Surviving are his widow, North Salt Lake; three sons and two daughters by a former marriage, Elmer, Everett, Charles, Esther and Princell Clyde, addresses unknown; several grandchildren, on great-grandchild and a brother, Andy Clyde, Los Angeles.Friends may call at the mortuary tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday prior to services. Burial will be in Ogden City cemetery.
