Mrs. Luretta Beem, of Grand River township, Adair county, died on Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Beem, whose maiden name was Leeper, formerly resided in this county, where a number of her relatives yet live.

The funeral was held on Thursday, Rev. H.O. Lawrence, of this place, being the officiating clergymen. Her husband and two little daughters survive her.
