Mrs. Jennie Eleanor Stockwell passed away Tuesday, March 16th at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stockwell at Pella, Iowa. Mrs. Stockwell was 80 years old, and had made her home here for more than 15 years when her son, Charles, was foreman of the mechanical department of The News.
Mrs. Stockwell was born at Lord, Wisconsin, and after marriage moved with her husband to Monticello, Iowa. Her husband preceded her in death. Mrs. Stockwell had made her home with one or the other of her two sons, Charles of Pella and Vernon of Hayward, Calif.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the De Bruyn Funeral Home in Pella, and burial was made at Monticello. Services were conducted Friday morning at Monticello.
