Kenneth Clifford Patterson

Kenneth Clifford Patterson, son of Ernest Julius Patterson and Lela Fern Alvis was born July 17, 1934 in Grand Prairie, Canada and passed from this life Monday, August 7, 2023 at Madison County Memorial Hospital at 89 years of age.

Kenneth grew up in Canada until age 11 when he moved to his family farm near Truro. Kenneth received his education in Truro High School graduating in 1953 and moved to Colorado where he worked for Martins Missile Base. He then moved to California and worked as a electronics technician. Kenneth moved back to Iowa in the early 70's where he worked with his father on the family farm. Farming was Kenneth's life following his time working in California. Kenneth later cared for his parents in their home until their passing.

Those relatives who preceded Kenneth in death were his father, Ernest Julius Patterson, mother, Lela Fern Alvis, sister, Fern McCasland, nephew, Gerald Baker, niece, Mabel McCasland, nephew, Gary Sterling McCasland.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory; sister, Helen Stout of West Des Moines, IA, brother, Ernest Ernie Patterson, Jr. of Urbandale, IA, sister, Shirley Givant of Winterset, IA, sister, Julia Bruett of Winfield, IA, nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Peru United Methodist Church, Saturday August 12, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Michael Eaton officiating.

The family will greet friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Peru United Methodist Church.

Interment will be in the Fremont Cemetery.
