Bert Miller, long time farm resident of near Booneville, was found dead at his home, Friday, October 2. Services were held at Van Meter Saturday, October 3, with Rev. David Thompson in charge. Burial was made in the Van Meter cemetery.

He was born near Union Chapel, August 31, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller. He was well known in that vicinity having worked as a woodcutter and farm hand.
