Wednesday, January 29, 1969MIKE BRAYMAN DIES SUDDENLY
Floyd A. Brayman, a retired truck driver and a resident of Madison county most of his life, died Monday, Jan. 27, His death occurred suddenly here, following a heart attack. He was 68 years old.
Mr. Brayman was born in Dallas county, near Booneville on July 6, 1900, a son of John and Emma Davis Brayman. He was married at Canton, S. Dak., on Nov. 6, 1950, to Bessie Barr, who survives him.
Mr. Brayman was a member of Winterset’s Green-Rogers post of the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two step-children, Lawrence Hooper and Mrs. Irene Henson of Winterset; eight step-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brittain of Winterset and Mrs. Bessie Clopton of Van Meter.
Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 P.m. from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. William Bowles, pastor of the First Christian church here. Burial was to be made in the Booneville cemetery, with military ritual at the graveside by Green-Rogers post of the American Legion.
