Winferd “Joe” Vasey Jr., 82, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center.

Joe was born in Des Moines, IA, the son of Frank and Laura (Killen) Vasey. He worked for Wheeler Lumber for many years and then owned/operated Four Cities Insulation Company, prior to his retirement. He was an avid stock car racing fan.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Steve (Denise) Vasey, Des Moines, daughter Sheila (Gary) O’Donnell, Carlisle, IA; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings: Carl, Monticello, IA, George, Truro, IA, Harold, Henry, Frankie and Roy, all of Des Moines, Betty Ann Vasey, AZ and Mae Watson, Des Moines and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

His parents and brother, Fred and a sister, Evelyn Jones preceded him in death.
