Former Business Man Succumbs In Florida

Lloyd Talley, 71, former business man of Winterset who was associated with the McCall Land and Title Co. about 25 years ago, died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday, November 8 in Bushnell, Florida.

Mr. Talley was born in Ringgold county, January 14, 1870. He graduated from the Mt. Ayr high school and attended Simpson college at Indianola, where he was affiliated with Sigma Alpha Epsilon social fraternity. He was associated with the Methodist church from his early youth to the time of his death.

He was married to Jennie Riheldaffer at Guthrie Center, January 14, 1901 and they were the parents of one child, Dorothy.

They moved to Winterset in 1901 and he became associated with the McCall Land and Title Co. They remained here until 1925 when they moved to Florida. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John C. Larmore of La Cresent, California, and one sister, Nora Talley of Cedar Rapids.
