Page 8, Column 2Herman Schoonover Dies In North Dakota
Word was received in St. Charles by Mrs. Jessie Schoonover of the death of Herman Schoonover in Lisbon, N. D., on Thursday, Sept. 11.
Mr. Schoonover was 58 years of age and was born in South township near Hanley. He was married to Miss Mary Mairs of Ohio township, moving to North Dakota with her parents about 30 years ago.
He is survived by his widow and five children, two sons and three daughters. He is the last member of the Schoonover family, his sister, Mrs. Colby, having died in Des Moines about a month ago. Funeral services and burial were conducted Saturday in Lisbon.
