Connie Faye Frey, 80, of Ankeny passed away on June 25, 2023, in the care of Suncrest Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born on January 18, 1943 to Orloff Ryner and Hazel Marie (Atkins) Lull in St Elmo, Illinois and grew up on a farm north of Winterset, Iowa. Connie graduated from Winterset High School in 1960. On August 13, 1961, she married David Lee Frey. Connie became an accountant and worked for the Levine accounting firm. Connie had an antique shop in St Charles, Iowa. She loved to spend time with her sons and their grandchildren, tackle all sorts of arts and crafts, and bird watching either her pet birds or birds in the wild.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, David Frey, brother-in-law Richard Greenwood, brother-in-law, Bernard Frey and a nephew, Jason Frey. Left to cherish her memory are; her sister Jean Greenwood, two sons, Scott (Reyna) Frey and Michael (Dannie) Frey; brother-in-law, James (Cheryl) Frey, sister in law Judy Frey; six grandchildren, Orlando (Autumn) Frey, Natalia Orozco, Scott Jr., Veronica, Anthony, and Andrew; and three great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Chavez, Augustine Frey, and Camilla Chavez.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
