Relatives here received a message telling of the death Wednesday of Mrs. L. Gation of Spokane, Washington. Her death was due to a paralytic stroke.
Mrs. Gation who was the former Lena Pafford, was born here in 1872 and lived here until her marriage to Joseph Gation, who preceded her in death several years ago. She has been a resident of Spokane for many years.
Two children, John Gation of Spokane and Mrs. Steven Brooks of Connecticut, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services and interment were held Sunday at Spokane.
