MARY BRAZZLE DIED TUESDAY AT 71 YRS.

Mrs. Mary Brazzle, 71, died at her farm home five miles west of Cumming, where she had lived for the past 30 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Nellie; four sons, Thomas, James, Leo and David, all at home; and a fifth son, F. W. living in Des Moines. Six grandchildren also survive. Her husband preceded her in death a few years ago.

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday at nine o’clock at St. John’s Catholic church at Cumming.

Obituary – Mrs. Mary Ann Brazzle

Mary Ann Norris was born in Jacksonville, Ill., Nov. 8, 1857 and died Feb. 7, 1939 at her home west of Cummings, Iowa, at the age of 81 years and three months.

In February, 1883 she was married to Edward Brazzle and in 1885 they came to Madison county, Iowa. Mr. Brazzle died on Dec. 30, 1919.

To this union were born eight children, one daughter died in infancy and her son John died March 7, 1938, age 52.

She leaves to mourn her loss five sons and one daughter, William of Des Moines, Watt, Tom, Leo, Dave and Nellie at home, one brother and one sister in Illinois and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning by Father McDonald at Cummings with burial in the Cummings cemetery.
