Gerald Thompson Dies

Gerald Thompson, 13 years of age, died Monday noon at the University hospital in Iowa City. Gerald was a patient in the Winterset hospital for a month and was taken to Iowa City Friday, Nov. 25.

WINTERSET BOY DIES AT IOWA CITY HOSPITAL

Gerald Thompson, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Thompson of Winterset, died Monday at the state hospital in Iowa City.

The boy had been in ill health for some time, suffering from a disease of the bones, and was treated at the Winterset hospital before being taken to Iowa City.

The Thompson family came here from Shenandoah. Mr. Thompson is an enrollee at the VCC camp here.
