County Briefs – Lee

Mrs. Ella Mae Holcomb, formerly Ella Mae Smith, was born in Lee township and lived here until her marriage to Luther Holcomb. They lived in Des Moines for several years and then moved near Indianola where she died Saturday, July 16.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, a daughter Elizabeth, two brothers, Willis and H. R. Smith of Lee township, a half sister, Mrs. Winnie Norman of Texas, and a half brother, Alva Smith of Fort Morgan, Colorado, besides many other relatives and friends.
