Page 8, Column 4JOHN BRAZZLE DIES IN MERCY HOSPITAL
John Brazzle of Lee township near Cumming, died March 7 at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines.
Mr. Brazzle, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brazzle, was born October 15, 1887 in Ashland, Illinois. He came to Iowa with his parents in 1897 and grew to manhood in Lee township. He was married to Catherine Bonney and they were the parents of eight children, three of who preceded him in death. His father also preceded him in death several days ago.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Walter, Junior and William; two daughters, Mary and Bernice all of whom are at home, his mother, five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held at St. John’s church in Cumming and burial was made and St. John’s cemetery.
