ANACONDA, June 7. – Ray R. Guiberson, 81, retired smelterman, died in St. Ann hospital Wednesday night following an extended illness. He had been a hospital patient since Friday. Mr. Guiberson had made his home at 412 East Third.
Born in Madison county, Iowa, he came to Montana in 1910, settling at Terry, where he lived until 1923, when he moved to Anaconda. He was employed at the Anaconda Reduction works until 1940, when he retired. Mr. Guiberson was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving relatives include four sons and five daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Francis E. Guiberson of Anaconda, Mr. and Mrs. Andre Guiberson and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Guiberson, all of Seattle; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Guiberson of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Blanche Guiberson of Fresno, Calif.; son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Flachmeyer of Anaconda, and 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The body is in the Kendrick funeral home. Arrangements will be completed following arrival of the son, Paul, from Seattle.
