Page 6, Column 4LAST RITES ARE HELD FOR MINNIE JUDD
Mrs. Minnie Schrivner Judd, 57. died October 9 at an Iowa City hospital. Mrs. Judd had been in poor health since July.
Services were held Monday morning at ten o’clock at Blair Chapel conducted by her former pastor, the Rev. F. Moore, Methodist minister at New Virginia. Burial was in Blair Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. Judd was born and grew to young womanhood on a farm near Bevington. She was married to Charles Bruce who died a number of years ago. Three children were born to them, Mrs. Blanche Sinn of Bevington,; Mrs. Elnore Weikart of Atlantic, and Eldon Bruce of New Virginia. A Sister, Mrs. Laura Chambers of Des Moines; and a brother, Charles Scrrivner of Council Bluffs who is seriously ill at the Iowa City hospital and her children survive.
