Word was received of the death of Matilda Hiatt, which occurred Monday evening at Clarinda. She was a sister of W. N. Vane and Sarah Hiatt of Peru.
Funeral services and burial were in Clarinda.
________________________Transcriber’s note: From her Iowa Death Certificate, her middle initial was “B”, she died February 10 and had been a patient at the state hospital at Clarinda since April 22, 1895.
