Word has been received that Mrs. William Lewis died at her home in Des Moines last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis were residents of St. Charles where Mr. Lewis clerked in the Charles Wood Store. They later moved to Des Moines and Mr. Lewis has had a clerical position in the Des Moines post office for many years.
Mrs. Charles Wood is a sister of Mrs. Lewis. The Lewis family had many friends in St. Charles.
