County Briefs – Earlham

William McFarland, 82, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Stiles, in Earlham Saturday. Brief services were held at the Welch funeral home here Monday and the body was taken to his old home, Mount Ayr, for burial.

He is survived by two sons and six daughters. They are Clifford and W. G. McFarland of Crystal Lake; Mrs. Minnie Stiles of Earlham; Mrs. Mary Morrison and Mrs. Margaret Miner of Lincoln, Nebraska; Mrs. Emma Arnett of Canton, Illinois; Mrs. Ada Rhodes of Mount Ayr; and Mrs. Josephine Welcher of Aurora, Illinois.
