Sharon Hauschildt was born on September 8, 1941 to Viola and Harold Hauschildt in rural Mapleton, Iowa and passed away February 3, 2023, at the age of 81. She was number four of ten children: Royce, Marilyn, Janet, Sharon, Marsha, Everett, Don, Julie, Randy and Wayne. She moved to Des Moines after graduation, where she worked as a personal secretary. She later moved to Earlham after her parents and siblings moved there. Years later she went to work for the Earlham Schools preparing lunches and the Earlham Day Care. Sharon retired at the age of 70. She was a longtime member of the Earlham Methodist Church where she liked to sing in the choir.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, February 7th at the Earlham Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Earlham Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Earlham Methodist Church or the Earlham Rescue Unit.
