Julie Kelly Ingram

Julie Kelly Ingram, 61, passed away at her home in Winterset on January 5, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2023 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel with a visitation one hour prior beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Afton. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.

Julie was born on September 20, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa to Michael and Nancy (Werner) Kelly. She graduated from East Union High School in 1979 and continued her education at SWCC, obtaining her nursing degree. Over the years, she worked at all the nursing homes in Winterset, Winterset Care Center South, Winterset Care Center North, and West Bridge Care Center. She also enjoyed her time working at Fareway Meat Market. She loved her customers, her co-workers and giving excellent customer service to all she served.

One of Julie’s favorite things to do was travel, especially going on cruises. She adored her grandkids, attending many events, and loved spending time with them.

Julie is survived by her mother, Nancy Kelly; her five children, Matt Ingram, Drew (Natalie) Ingram, Ashley (Maverick) Chenoweth, Jonny Ingram, and Jordan (Shantel Love) Ingram; brother, Race Kelly; and grandkids, Kylie, Tyler, Trenton, Cadence, Braden, Kamdyn, Harper, Huxlee, Asher, Quinton, and Zella.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael; sister, Jan Kelly; paternal grandparents, Charles and Florenz Kelly; maternal grandparents, Darrel and Maxine Werner; and great grandmother, Ruth Culver.
