OBITUARIES – Velma A. Fisher

LORIMOR, IA. - Velma A. Fisher, 88, of Lorimor died of a heart ailment Saturday at Greenfield Manor. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lorimor United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Lorimor Cemetery.

Mrs. Fisher was born in Madison County and lived in the Lorimor area her entire life, except the past five years, which she spent in Greenfield. She was a retired office receptionist, a member of Lorimor United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Jones of Lorimor and Mary Ann Schroeder of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset and from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
