Dr. Fred Ewing died Monday at his home in Grimes where for many years he had been practicing medicine. His sister, Miss Eudora Ewing of this city was called to Grimes Saturday.
Dr. Ewing was the last male member of one of the city’s oldest families. His father was the first pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Dr. Ewing was fifty-three years old.
