MaryAnne Snyder

MaryAnne Snyder, 66, of Winterset, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at her home.

MaryAnne Elizabeth was born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 30, 1955, the daughter of Kenneth and Joanne (Ford) See. She graduated from Dexfield High School in 1973 and later married Terry Snyder.

MaryAnne was a CNA and worked at North Care Center in Winterset for many years. She also enjoyed working as a telemarketer. She was a hard worker.

She loved the Covered Bridge Festival and held a garage sale every year around that time. She liked going to auctions and finding good treasures. She was very crafty and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed playing cards, Scrabble, and wild canasta with her family. She liked baking Christmas goodies and loved the Christmas. She loved her animals, her dogs and cats. Above all else, MaryAnne absolutely loved her grandkids. She liked that their birthdays were close together and she could celebrate with them.

MaryAnne is survived by her father, Kenneth See; her son, Andrew (Lisa) Snyder; siblings, Susan See, John See, and Dorothy Kellogg; and two grandchildren, Thomas Snyder and Mya Snyder.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne; her husband, Terry; and brother-in-law, Dan Kellogg.
