Ina Evonne (Dullenty) Rouw, 78, of Bondurant, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the Urbandale Health Care Center in Urbandale.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel with a visitation held one hour prior beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Moon Cemetery, rural Macksburg. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
Ina was born in Wolf Point, Montana on May 25, 1944, the daughter of Albert and Orlea (Raffensperger) Dullenty. She graduated from LPN nursing school in 1964 and especially enjoyed geriatric nursing. She was a wonderful mother and farmwife, always willing to help with anything.
Ina loved the Lord and enjoyed listening to and singing hymns. She attended the St. Charles Baptist Church for over 20 years and the Ord-New Hope Church for 10 years. She loved her church activities and helping with Sunday school. She leaves behind a legacy of Christ’s love and Christian witness.
Ina had jubilant laughter. “Joy” was her personality. She loved gardening, flowers and making flower arrangements. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her good, home cooking. Above all else, Ina loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Rodney (Lisa) Rouw and Corina Cronks; brothers, Raymond (Linda) Dullenty and Edward Dullenty; five grandchildren, Faith, Joshua, Micah, Amberly, and Jared; and four great-grandchildren.
Ina was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Orlea (Raffensperger) Dullenty and special aunt and uncle, Itata (Paul) George.
