Rose Mary Coulson

Des Moines - Rose Coulson, age 88, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Valley View Village in Des Moines. She was born the daughter of Floyd and Flo (Morgan) Frederick on October 18, 1933, in Winterset, Iowa.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving sons, Robert (Deb) Coulson and Ted (Jama) Coulson; grandchildren, Christy (Gary) Adams, Bobby (Michelle) Coulson, Jason (Leslie) Coulson, Angela Coulson, and Jamie Coulson; great-grandchildren, Madison, Blaine, Katie, Abby, Nate, Chloe, Destiny, Taylor, Colten, Kollen, and Ashlynn; great-great-grandchildren, Harper and Clayton; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, William "Ted" Coulson; her parents; and brothers, Ben, Francis, and Victor Frederick.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2022, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Private urn burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel.
