Laura Ellen Fusselman, age 75, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2020 at Louisville Care Center in Louisville, NE.

Laura was born on May 19, 1944 in Elgin, IL to Donald Calvin Duff and Isobel Marie (Lattig) Duff. Laura graduated from high school in Creston, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Dale Glen Fusselman on July 2, 1964 in Anita, IA. Dale and Laura had 4 children: Becky (Bruce) Headley, Jeff (Kerri) Fusselman, Cyndi (James) Keck, and Steve (Kim) Fusselman.

Laura enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Department of Probation in York, NE and with Dr. Allan Haynes, Jr. in Clovis, NM. Laura was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1986. She persevered independently with this disease until 2017 at which time she entered the Louisville Care Center as a resident in their skilled nursing unit until her death.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Dale Fusselman; parents Donald & Isobel Duff; brother-in-law Roger Fusselman and wife Nancy, and brother-in-law Dan Anderson. She is survived by her children; grandchildren: Kayley Headley, Collin Headley, Laura (Tyler) Frank, Katie Fusselman, Jake Fusselman, Warren Keck, Mykah Keck, Michael Fusselman, and Destini Fusselman; great-grandchildren Amaya Fusselman-Gonzalez and Easton Frank; brothers Royce (Donna J.) Duff and Glenn (Donna K.) Duff, sister Donna M. Duff, brother-in-law Craig (Susie) Fusselman, sisters-in-law Carol Anderson and Jolene (Dave) Krogh, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In accordance with new guidelines, a private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at Moon Cemetery in Macksburg, IA. Burial will follow memorial service.
