Dale was born to Glen and Genevieve Fusselman in Fontanelle, Iowa on March 21, 1942. Dale attended and graduated school at Anita, Iowa. In 1960 Dale enlisted in the USAF for four years before being discharged in 1965.
In 1964 Dale met Laura Duff and they were married in July of 1964. They had 4 children, Becky Sue Fusselman Headley (Bruce), Jeffrey Glen Fusselman (Kerri), Cyndi Jo Keck (James) and Steven Dale Fusselman (Kim).
Dale spent his life in farm store retailing from clerk to vice president. Dale worked for Wheelers from 1965-1985, then worked in Clovis, New Mexico for A &M Farm & Ranch from 1985-1990. Dale then took a job in Quincy, Illinois for Quincy Farm & Home from 1990-1996 then Dale went back to Wheelers in 1996 until 2004 when he retired. During retirement Dale and Laura moved to Creston, Iowa to help take care of his mother-in-law Isobel Duff. In 2009 Isobel died and the two moved to Omaha, Nebraska.
Dale is survived by his wife and children, 9 grandchildren, Warren & Mykah Keck, Michael & Destini Fusselman, Kayley & Collin Headley, Laura, Katie & Jacob Fusselman, one great-grandchild Amaya, brother Craig Fusselman (Susie), two sisters Carol Anderson (Dan) and Jolene Krogh (Dave), brother-in-laws Royce Duff (Donna J) and Glenn Duff (Donna K), sister-in-law Donna M. Duff and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, brother Roger, grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Sunday, January 29 at 4PM at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel with family receiving friends from 2-4PM.
Interment will be in Macksburg, IA.
Memorials can be made out to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Boys Town
