Carl Warren Killam, 72, of Kimberling City, Mo., died of cancer Monday at home. Services will be at l p.m. Saturday at McLaren's Funeral Home in West Des Moines, with burial at Resthaven Cemetery there.

Mr. Killam was born in St. Charles and had lived in Des Moines before moving to Kimberling City six years ago. He had worked for Meredith Corp. and was a member of the Printing Pressman Union.

Survivors include two sons, Warren and Charles, and a brother, Edward, all of Des Moines; three sisters, Norma Killam and Ethlyn Killam, both of Des Moines, and Arlene Johnson of Ankeny; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Mr. Killam's companion was Barbara McBrien of Kimberling City.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospices of America or the American Cancer Society.
