Thursday October 10, 1909

George W. Hetzler, a resident of Winterset during the eighties, died on Tuesday at the home of his step-daughter, Mrs. Homer Thompson of Valley Junction. Mrs. Hetzler removed from this place twenty-four years ago.

Mr. & Mrs. Homer Thompson accompanied the remains here for burial and funeral services were held this afternoon from the residence of Mrs. Thomas Jones who is a sister-in-law of the deceased.
