October 10, 1956 - March 9, 2022Vince Goodwin of Lakeville, Minnesota passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
Vince was born October 10th, 1956 in Winterset, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his parents Helen and Fred. Vince is survived by his wife of 38 years Becky; his two children Derek (Alyssa) and Megan; siblings Sherry Lathrum (Ed), Chet Chickering (Susan), and Gary Chickering (Weezie).
Vince served his country for 6 years in the US Navy. During this time, he married his wife Becky in 1983. Vince and Becky moved to Minnesota where they had their two children, Derek and Megan. Vince enjoyed serving his community as a past commander of the Lakeville VFW.
Vince would love for you all to remember him by telling one of his funny stories over a drink with friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Lakeville VFW Post 210.
Memorial Service will be held 4 PM Friday, March 18, 2022 at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr., Lakeville. Gathering of family and friends from 1-4 PM prior to service.
