A. L. Bevercombe, Formerly of Filer Vicinity, Passes

FILER, Feb. 5 - Alvin L. Bevercombe, 60, who retired from farming near Filer In December, 1941 and moved to Los Angeles, died at his home in the California city at 8:30 p, m. Wednesday of a heart ailment according to word received here. Funeral services and burial will be In Los Angeles.

Mr. Bevercombe operated a farm one and one-half miles northwest of Filer since December, 1915, when he moved there from Orient, la, where he was born Dec. 11, 1882. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ella Bevercombe, Los Angeles; a daughter, Wllma Bevercombe, Los Angeles; a son, Gale Bevercombe, residing two miles west of Twin Falls, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Brown, Twin Falls. The latter was visiting her brother when he died.

Informed of the death was Wes Pearson, who had been employed by Mr. Bevercombe for 30 years prior to his removal to Los Angeles.
