HURST — Marion M "Bill" McCoy a retired truck driver died yesterday at a Richland Hills hospital. He was 69. Memorial service will be at 8 tonight at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Military graveside service will be at 4 pm Wednesday in Holyoke, Colo.

Mr. McCoy was born in Macksburg Iowa. He had lived in Hurst for 41 years. He had worked for 35 years as a truck driver for Merchant Freight Lines. He also worked for Lane-McDuff. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. Mr McCoy was a member of the American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars and Forty and Eight. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Arlington.

He was the widower of Cleo McCoy.
