Page 12, Column 5W. A. (Doss) Gardner, 86, of Barney died suddenly at his home in Barney Monday afternoon. He had been an invalid for 4 years and was confined to a wheelchair.
He was born in Madison county, July 25, 1870 and lived his entire life in Madison county. His wife Minnie preceded him in death several years ago. A niece, Mrs. Belva Warren had made her home with him caring for him in his illnesses.
He is survived by a brother, his niece, Mrs. Warren, and a nephew Ernest of Indianola.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Barney church with Rev. P. R. Fredde in charge. Interment was made in the Barney cemetery.
