Eva Belew, 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Azria Health in Winterset. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel. Family will greet friends prior, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Moon Cemetery, rural Macksburg. Memorials may be directed to the family. Eva Marie Belew was born in Munich, Germany on July 8, 1946, the daughter of Leonard and Amalia “Molly” (Schornagel) Austin. She came to America when she was one year old. Her parents resided in the DeSoto, Iowa area. She graduated from the Adel/DeSoto school district. Eva later married Glen Belew.

In her early years, she enjoyed fishing and camping. Her life as a homemaker was her passion. She also worked at the Winterset hospital in the kitchen for many years. She had a great heart for people and loved her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her four daughters, Lisa (Rod) Rouw, Neena (Shawn) Honnold, Dina Belew, and Joy Streeter; her eight grandchildren, Amberly (Brad) Gibson, Jared (Emilie) Rouw, Bridgette Honnold, Rose Honnold, Sienna Honnold, Charity Honnold, Lydia Streeter, and Rhys Streeter; and her three great-grandchildren, Blaire Gibson, Mack Gibson, and Cody Rouw.
