Thursday, August 26, 2021Wanda L. Bane, 87, passed away peacefully at Lifepath Hospice in Temple Terrace, Fla., on July 9, 2021.
Wanda was born in Winterset, Iowa to Harvey L. and Ada Marie (Hill) Davis on Sept. 10, 1933. She was a 1952 graduate of the Winterset High School. She married Jerry Bane on June 15, 1952. They were the parents of three children: daughter, Theresa, and twin sons, Ronald and Randal.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Michael) Fulton of Florida; son Ronald (Donna) Bane of Lorimor; sisters, Betty (Robert) Grandfield of St. Charles, Shirley Henry of Winterset; brother Kenneth (Donna) Davis of Marion, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry; son, Randy; grandson, Chance Bane; and two infant granddaughters, Christine Fulton an Heather Bane.
A service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa, on Sept. 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. A luncheon will be held following the service, at the VFW Hall.
Memorials may be directed to her family for a future designation.
