Winterset, IowaLucy Clark, 87, of Earlham, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Winterset Cemetery.
Lucy Agnes Johnston Clark was born May 7, 1934 in Tingley, Iowa, the daughter of Avery and Agnes (Reynolds) Johnston. She was married twenty-two years to David Clark. He preceded her in death three years ago.
Lucy was an aide at North Care Center in Winterset for many years. She loved to read a good book and watch TV. She loved her Iowa Hawkeyes and was a fanatic football and basketball fan. Lucy was most happy being with her family. She enjoyed life.
Those left to cherish Lucy’s memory are her daughter, Patti (Larry) Arnburg; brother, Duane Johnston; five grandchildren, Kamie, James, Lucas, Chad and Wes; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Agnes; son, Kenneth Duane Smith; four brothers; and four sisters.
