Funeral services for Maurice Alvin Crist, 65, of Peru, who died January 1 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, are being handled by Kale Funeral Home of Truro. Services will be held at the Peru Methodist Church Fri. Jan. 5 at 11 a.m.

Mr. Crist was a brick layer and operated a custodial home in Oskaloosa.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine.
