Death of Mr. J. H. Way

J. H. Way died at his residence, 914 East Court avenue, early yesterday morning of old age and general debility, having lived to the ripe age of 75 years. He was confined to his room for about four weeks, suffering constantly, but retained his mental faculties until about three hours before his death.

He was the father of Mrs. C. C. Clark and Mrs. S. A. Pattee, of this city, who were his constant nurses during his long illness.

The funeral will take place at 2:30 this afternoon from the residence.

The aged companion of his life still survives him, but lies in a very critical condition. Deceased removed to this city from Winterset, about four years ago, where he had been a resident for many years. – Des Moines Leader, Nov. 25th.
