Page 13, Column 3Services for Wilbur R. Palmer, 62, of 4645 N.E. Thirty-second St., who died of emphysema Sunday at home, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Earlham, Mr. Palmer was a Des Moines resident the past 29 years and was a retired mechanic for Service Saw and Tool Corp. He was a member of American Legion post 274.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Linda Dunkin, Dorothy Voyce and Jeri Palmer, all of Des Moines; two stepdaughters, Mary Smith of Ankeny and Sherrel Lake of Des Moines; a son, Larry R. of Runnells; his mother, Maude Tough of Winterset; a sister, Doris Clague of Earlham, 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
