Page 86, Columns 3-4Margaret Killam Greener, 94, of Ft. Worth, Texas, died Jan. 29, 2015, at Universal Hospice, Ft. Worth, Texas from Alzheimer’s disease. The body was cremated. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.
Margaret was born in St. Charles, Iowa. Margaret was a homemaker and loved all babies and children. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds no matter where she was living all over the world but especially liked the many meadowlarks in Iowa. She was at her happiest when around her large family singing around the piano. She had lived in Caracas, Venezuela; Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Croydon, England; Corpus Christi, Texas; Houston, Texas; Alief, Texas; Stanton, Texas; Tyler, Texas; Denver, Colo.; Ames, Iowa; New Virginia, Iowa; Des Moines, Iowa; Broken Arrow, Okla.
Survivors include: daughter Judith Schneider of Arlington, Texas; son-in-law Mike Schneider of Arlington; son-in-law Larry Poling of Ft. Worth; brother James Killam of Illinois; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Husband Charles Greener preceded her in death.
Memorials may be given to Universal Health Services/Hospice; 1208 Country Club Lane; Ft. Worth, TX 76112. Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola handled arrangements.
