Cleo Peacock, 93, of Winterset, died Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. The family is planning services for a later date.
Cleo Sarah Bashore was born on May 1, 1928, in McGrath, Minnesota, the daughter of Daniel and Opal (Jay) Bashore. She was married to Robert Peacock on July, 14, 1947 in Minnesota.
Cleo was a homemaker. She was also a nurse’s aide at the hospital and care centers before retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Peacock and Robert Peacock; daughter, Rebecca Kile; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Opal Bashore; husband, Robert; and daughter, Linda Creech.
