WILLIAM ANDERSON RITES HELD TUESDAY
Death Occurred Sunday at Clarinda for Former Resident

William C. Anderson, a resident of Madison county for most of his life, died Sunday at Clarinda. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Anderson was born near Knoxville on March 17, 1876. As a young man he engaged in farming, and later worked as a farm hand. He never married.

He is survived by two brothers, Charles Anderson of Winterset and DeWitt Anderson of Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted from Anderson’s home for funerals Tuesday, in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis. Burial was made in the McGinnis cemetery west of Patterson.
