HERSCHEL TRINDLE OF VAN METER DIES

VAN METER - E. Hershel Trindle of this community died Thursday, Dec. 3. at the Veteran's hospital in Des Moines after an extended illness. He was 59 years of age.

Mr. Trindle was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Miller of Davenport; three brothers, Eldon Trindle of Des Moines, Don Trindle of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Fred Trindle of Van Meter, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday from the Fisher funeral home in Van Meter, conducted by the Rev. A. Beurman. Burial was made in the Van Meter Cemetery.
